BLOOM'S TAXONOMY
Bloom's Taxonomy is aligned to iPad apps by a number of authors. Here are some of the leading examples. Note that different authors align the same app to different stages of the taxonomy. This is because most apps can be used for a variety of activities and context and it is, therefore, difficult to neatly align them to a particular stage in a framework.
Educational origami - http://edorigami.wikispaces.com
A mammoth site containing a comprehensive compendium of resources around Bloom's Taxonomy. Although not solely focused on application with iPad there are some resources around this subject. The image below is taken from this site and shows the different verbs that can be applied to each stage of the taxonomy.
Kelly Tenkely - http://ilearntechnology.com/
iPad apps are aligned below to each stage of the Bloom's Taxonomy. Some are repeated across different stages. This is a good starting point as it include more apps than the others below.
Allan Carrington - Padagogy Wheel
This works well because of its inclusion of the stages, descriptive verbs and apps all in one attractive image. Its complexity means that close study is necessary.
Kathy Schrock - Blooming' apps - http://www.schrockguide.net/bloomin-apps.html
A useful starting point for educators new to iPads. Note the repetition of mindmapping apps within analyzing (popplet) and remembering (mind mapping). Although this is accurate it can be confusing and highlights an issue with this kind of alignment as you could make a case for most apps across many of the stages.
